I would like to start by thanking everyone who participated in our first #edtechbridge chat which took place on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 6pm - 7pm EST. If you missed the chat, feel free to grab a large cup of coffee and enjoy the full transcript.
The last question of our chat last week was "What topics / questions would you like to see addressed in the next #edtechbridge chat?" One that generated a good buzz, was the suggestion from Scott Freschet (@scottfreschet).
We hope you will join us this Wednesday, April 9th from 6pm - 7pm EST for our second #edtechbridge tweetchat. The topic for the chat is "Breaking Down the Myths About Teachers and #EdTech Developers"
The tentative list of questions is:
- What are the common myths and misconceptions about teachers and edtech devselopers?
- What can we do to combat the myths? Change the stereotypes?
- What kind of teacher / edtech company would you want to work with? What would you like this collaboration to look like?
- how do we make sure both teachers and edtech developers feel valued in the collaboration?
Please feel free to comment to this post with initial thoughts regarding this week's topic / questions as well as other thoughts you may have about the #edtechbridge community. We'd also love it if you would share any connections you have already made as the goal of this community is to bring people together!
